DHCP PROTOCOL:
IP address can be assigned manually by entering them in physical automatically by DHCP servers.
• When a device connects to a network, if it is not configured, the device sends request out as DHCP DISCOVER to see any DHCP server on the networks.
• The DHCP server replies back with an IP address to the device could use as DHCP OFFER.
• Then the device sends a reply by confirming it wants a IP address as DHCP REQUEST.
• Finally, the DHCP server sends a reply acknowledging this process has been completed.
